General description

Ammonium sodium phosphate dibasic tetrahydrate (Ammonium sodium hydrogen phosphate) is a colorless ammonium salt. On heating, it undergoes decomposition to afford sodium polyphosphate.

Application

Ammonium sodium phosphate dibasic tetrahydrate (Sodium ammonium phosphate tetrahydrate) may be used in the following studies:
  • To compose the growth medium during the biocatalytic synthesis of 4-fluorocatechol.
  • Preparation of microcosmic salt beads, which are used in qualitative analysis.
