General description

HumanKine growth factors are expressed in a proprietary human 293 protein expression system and are manufactured without the use of any animal products and are considered Xeno-Free.
Interleukin-17F (IL-17F) is is a cytokine that shares sequence similarity with IL17. This cytokine is expressed by activated T cells, and has been shown to stimulate the production of several other cytokines, including IL6, IL8, and CSF2/GM-CSF. This cytokine is also found to inhibit the angiogenesis of endothelial cells and induce endothelial cells to produce IL2, TGFB1/TGFB, and monocyte chemoattractant protein-1.

Quality

Bioactivity assay: Determined by the dose-dependent induction of IL-6 secretion from NDHF Adult fibroblasts. ED50 is typically 100-500 ng/ml.
HumanKine IL-17F is manufactured using all non-animal reagents and is considered Xeno-Free
