Hormones & Receptors
This antibody reacts with solid phase ACTH either captured as part of a sandwich or adsorbed as a solid phase antigen and as such is suitable for serum assay development

The antibody is also reactive on formalin fixed paraffin wax embedded tissue and is therefore suitable for immunocytochemistry

Optimal working dilutions must be determined by the end user.

Physical form

Format: Purified
The monoclonal is presented as 1mg in 1ml phosphate buffered saline containing 0.1% sodium azide. We recommend that each laboratory determine an optimum working titre for use in its particular application.

Storage and Stability

For use within 1 month of purchase store at +4°C, for long term storage aliquot antibody into small volumes and store at -20°C.

The mechanisms of septic shock-associated adrenal insufficiency remain unclear. This study aimed at investigating the synthesis of corticotropin-releasing hormone (CRH) and vasopressin (AVP) by parvocellular neurons and the antehypophyseal expression of ACTH in human septic shock and in an experimental
