General description

EX-CELL® Advanced HD Perfusion Medium is chemically-defined and contains no animal derived components. The new medium has been specifically developed to support growth and productivity across a diverse set of Chinese Hamster Ovary (CHO) cells in perfusion cultures while still allowing for flexibility in the adjustment of protein quality attributes. This medium was developed using a strategy of Multivariate Analysis to establish correlations in which the formulation components influence critical process and product attributes such as titer, fold expansion, protein expression and glycosylation. This medium is intended to be used in perfusion processes. While the medium was developed specifically for steady-state perfusion, it can also support other perfusion applications such as N-1, continuous fed-batch and production perfusion where cells are not bled.

Quantity

Formulated to contain 28.57 grams of powder per liter of medium.
