General description

Di-n-butyl phthalates (DnBPs) are mainly used in personal-care products like perfumes, aftershaves, shampoos, make up and nail products, paints, etc.

Application

DnBP has been used as a certified reference material (CRM) for the determination of the analyte in cleaning and personal care products by liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) and as a reference standard for the identification of the analyte in tea beverages by ionic liquid-based hollow fiber liquid phase microextraction (IL-HF-PLME), coupled with high-performance liquid chromatography-diode array detection (HPLC-DAD). It may be used as a reference standard for the analysis of the analyte in food samples and as urinary metabolites in pregnant women by LC-MS.
Refer to the product′s Certificate of Analysis for more information on a suitable instrument technique. Contact Technical Service for further support.

Other Notes

This Certified Reference Material (CRM) is produced and certified in accordance with ISO 17034 and ISO/IEC 17025. All information regarding the use of this CRM can be found on the certificate of analysis.
