Biochem/physiol Actions

Follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) belongs to glycoprotein hormone family. It is secreted by the gonadotropic cells of pituitary gland. FSH specifically binds to FSH receptor (FSHR) for signalling. It also plays an important role in oogenesis.
