Application
This SRM is intended to enhance the development of chemical analytical methods for trace elements found in a natural ferro-magnesian silicate glass, which can be used with measurement techniques including laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (LA-ICP-MS) and microbeam X-ray fluorescence (μXRF). It can also be used for quality assurance when assigning values to in-house control materials.
Features and Benefits
- Certified mass fraction values for elements present in SRM 606 are reported on a dry-mass basis and values are metrologically traceable to SI unit of milligrams per kilogram.
- Reference mass fraction values for Cerium is provided as a mass fraction.
- Maintenance and expiration of SRM Certification, instructions for storage and use are provided on NIST certificate.
