General description
DetachKit-125
Application
The DetachKit was developed for gentle and effective detachment of adherent primary human cells in culture. Each batch is tested on primary human cells. The DetachKit is optimized for primary human cells but can also be used for primary animal cells and cell lines.
Components
Each DetachKit consists of three components: HEPES BSS (HEPES buffered Balanced Salt Solution), Trypsin/EDTA Solution and TNS (Trypsin Neutralization Solution). The DetachKit comes with a Trypsin/EDTA ratio of 0.04%/0.03%. HEPES BSS contains 30 mM HEPES, D-Glucose, NaCl, KCl, Na-Phosphate and Phenol Red. TNS contains 0.05% Trypsin Inhibitor from soybean and 0.1% Bovine Serum Albumin.
Quality
All lots of PromoCell′s DetachKits are subjected to comprehensive quality control tests. Each lot is routinely tested for use with primary human cells, the absence of cytotoxicity, and physical parameters such as osmolality and pH level. Approved in-house lots are used as a reference. In addition, all lots have been tested for the absence of microbial contaminants (fungi, bacteria, mycoplasma).
Storage and Stability
Store at -20°C in the dark immediately after arrival. Refrigerate thawed solution at 4 to 8°C. If stored properly, the product is stable until the expiry date stated on the label. Thawed solutions can be stored at 4 to 8°C and used for up to 6 weeks.
