General description

The Scepter 3.0 Handheld Automated Cell Counter delivers rapid cell counts in a handheld, easy to use format. Intended for research use only, Scepter 3.0 has been tested with cell types representative of those in use today. After preparing a dilution of the cell culture of interest, on-screen instructions guide the user through the sampling process. In less than 30 seconds after the Scepter Cell Counter aspirates a sample into the Scepter Cell Counter Sensor, the Scepter cell counter′s screen displays:

  • Cell concentration
  • Average cell size
  • Average cell volume
  • Histogram of size or volume distribution
The device stores up to 999 counts, which can be downloaded to the user′s computer and uploaded for further manipulation.

The Scepter 3.0 Cell Counter is compatible with both the 40uM and 60uM Scepter 3.0 Cell Counter Sensors. This kit (PHCC360KIT) includes a free 50-pack of 60uM sensors.
