General description

The polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) membrane plates are recommended, over a mixed cellulose ester format, due to slightly improved binding of capture antibody and superior performance in spot detection, particularly for fluorescent applications.

Application

MultiScreen® HTS IP Filter Plate, 0.45 μm, white, sterile has been used in enzyme-linked immunospot (ELISpot) assay using:
  • dsDNA-producing plasma cells
  • memory B cells and bone marrow localized long-lived plasma cells
  • draining lymph node and spleen cells

Cytotoxic T-lymphocyte antigen 4 (CTLA-4) -mediated regulation of already tolerized autoreactive T cells is critical for understanding autoimmune responses. Although defects in CTLA-4 contribute to abnormal FOXP3+ regulatory T (Treg) cell function in rheumatoid arthritis, its role in autoreactive T
