General description

We are committed to bringing you Greener Alternative Products, which adhere to one or more of The 12 Principles of Green Chemistry. This product has been enhanced for energy efficiency. Click here for more information.

Application

This product can be used in material extrusion 3D printing technique.
This product is a thixotropic ink based on boron carbide (B4C) microparticles. It is suitable for various direct ink write (aka robocasting) printing technologies. The ink offers a stable dispersion of B4C, high viscosity, good printability, and long shelf life (when stored in an airtight sealed container). Sintered patterns provide excellent thermal stability and hardness. The ink is suitable for applications such as heat exchanges, high wear components, components in extreme temperature environments, etc.

Storage and Stability

Handeling tips:
Store in an airtight sealed container in refrigerator.
Avoid exposure to heat.

Step-by-Step procedure for ink mixing and loading into syringe is in attached file.

Storage:
Store in an airtight sealed container in refrigerator, do not freeze
Avoid exposure to heat
Mix well by hand or in a planetary mixer (preferred) before usage.
