TRPC3 (transient receptor potential-canonical 3) belongs to TRPC family. It is present in sperm. It is located on chromosome 4q27.
Immunogen
a 14 amino acid peptide from near the carboxy-terminus of human TRPC3.
Application
Anti-TRPC3 has been used in immunofluorescent staining.
Biochem/physiol Actions
TRPC3 (transient receptor potential-canonical 3) participates in motility and capacitation of sperm. It is responsible for the proliferation of ovarian cancer cell in vitro and in vivo.
Linkage
The action of this antibody can be blocked using blocking peptide SBP3905.
Physical form
Solution in phosphate buffered saline containing 0.02% sodium azide

Ca(2+) signaling is pivotal for sperm maturation, including the processes of motility, capacitation, and the acrosome reaction. As a Ca(2+) conductor, transient receptor potential-canonical 3 (TRPC3) plays an important role in somatic cells. However, the function of TRPC3 in sperm
