4-Nitroaniline is an aromatic amine, used as an intermediate in the production of p-phenylenediamine, azo dyes, antioxidants, fuel additives, corrosion inhibitors and pesticides.

Application

4-Nitroaniline may be used as an analytical standard for the determination of 4-nitrophenol in water samples by competitive flow immunoassay coupled with a fluorescence detector.
