General description

Serotonin receptor 1A, also known as 5-hydroxytryptamine receptor 1A, is a member of the G protein-coupled receptor family. Serotonin receptor 1A has been found to be expressed highly in the septum and hippocampus. Serotonin receptor 1A seems to have an inhibitory effect on Ca2+ channels, via N-channels and L-channels. The receptor actuates voltage-sensitive slowing using the N-channels and actuates steady state inhibition using the L-channels.

Immunogen

KLH-conjugated linear peptide corresponding to rat Serotonin receptor 1A.

Application

Anti-Serotonin receptor 1A Antibody, clone 19A9.2 is an antibody against Serotonin receptor 1A for use in WB, IH.
Immunohistochemistry Analysis: 1:400 dilution from a previous lot detected Serotonin receptor 1A in normal human brain tissue.
