Application
Bis-MPA dendritic molecules are based on 2,2-Bismethylolpropionicacid (bis-MPA) building blocks. The hydrolysable linkers presented in this type of polymers allows their degradation into byproducts that can be reabsorbed by the body or into excretable non-toxic small molecules. Therefore, this group of dendritic polymers are biocompatible and biodegradable, making them suitable for biomedical applications. The NHBoc-functionalized corona and Biotin-functionalized core of this product can be readily used in bioconjugation reactions.
