生化/生理作用

阿昔洛韦是一种抗病毒药，在单纯疱疹病毒胸苷激酶(HSV-TK)的作用下变成三磷酸阿昔洛韦。它竞争性地抑制病毒DNA聚合酶。它对巨细胞病毒和EB(Epstein-Barr)病毒的疗效相对较弱。阿昔洛韦已被用来研究单纯疱疹病毒的潜伏机制。它也具有抗人免疫缺陷型病毒1(HIV-1)活性。
