生化/生理作用

内皮素1(ET-1)可作为旁分泌和自分泌功能的介导子。在ET-1 的生产在病理生理条件下上调,它也由多种细胞产生,如心肌细胞、血管平滑肌细胞以及炎症细胞,如白细胞和巨噬细胞。ET-1是一种强效的血管收缩肽,由心血管病中多种细胞的风险因子刺激。它参与许多生物效应,如促炎作用、血小板激活、自由基的刺激以及促有丝分裂和增生作用。ET-1在肺生理学、神经学功能、自身免疫性疾病、电解质和体液的运输以及癌症中起一定作用。它是源于胚胎神经嵴的组织发育的必要成分。ET-1 通过激活Wnt信号通路促进成骨细胞增殖,从而参与骨生成。
