Application
- Modified Gas Chromatographic Analysis: Tricaprin solution is employed in modified gas chromatographic methods to determine monoacylglycerol and diacylglycerol contents in edible fats and oils, enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of lipid profiling in food science (Satou et al., 2017).
- Emulsification of Various Triglycerides: Tricaprin solution is also integral in research studying the emulsification properties of various triglycerides using dialkylphosphatidylcholine and egg yolk lecithin, which is pivotal for understanding and improving food emulsifiers and pharmaceutical excipients (Nii and Ishii, 2005).
- Enzyme Properties in Biotechnology: Additionally, Tricaprin is utilized in the study of lipase properties from Pseudomonas fragi, contributing to biotechnological applications in enzyme engineering and industrial enzyme applications (Lu and Liska, 1969).
