Application

  • Compact sample environment for in situ X-ray scattering during spin-coating.: This research explores the use of halogen lamps in a novel compact sample environment designed for in situ X-ray scattering during the spin-coating process. This technique, crucial in materials science and analytical chemistry, allows for precise control and monitoring of thin-film formations on substrates (Kneschaurek E et al., 2023).

  • Incoherent broadband cavity-enhanced absorption spectroscopy for sensitive measurement of nutrients and microalgae.: Halogen lamps serve as a vital light source in this study, enhancing the measurement accuracy of nutrients and microalgae concentrations in environmental samples. This method underscores the lamp′s versatility and efficiency in absorption spectroscopy, facilitating advanced ecological monitoring and research (Zhang H et al., 2022).

  • In ovo sexing of eggs from brown breeds with a gender-specific color using visible-near-infrared spectroscopy.: Utilizing halogen lamps, this research demonstrates a non-invasive method for in ovo sexing of eggs, which is pivotal for enhancing ethical standards and efficiency in poultry production. The study highlights the lamp′s role in providing stable and consistent lighting for spectroscopic analysis (Corion M et al., 2022).

  • Characteristic parameters of photonic nanojets of single dielectric microspheres illuminated by focused broadband radiation.: The research discusses the use of halogen lamps in the study of photonic nanojets, which are crucial for manipulating light at the nanoscale. This study enhances understanding of light-matter interactions and has implications for developing advanced optical devices (Mandal A et al., 2022).

  • A Multi-Analytical Approach for Studying the Effect of New LED Lighting Systems on Modern Paints: Chemical Stability Investigations.: Comparing LED and traditional halogen lighting systems, this study assesses their effects on the chemical stability of modern paints. This research is essential for conservation science, providing insights into how different lighting technologies can affect the longevity and preservation of artworks (Pintus V et al., 2021).
