Application

3β,7α,24S-trihydroxy-5-cholestenoic acid has been used in the preparation of [25,26,26,26,27,27,272H7]22R-Hydroxycholest-4-en-3-one ([2H7]22R-HCO). It has also been used as a standard in liquid chromatography-high resolution mass spectrometry (LC-HRMS) reconstructed ion chromatogram for cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) cholestenoic acid analysis.
