Application

Alkyne-containing molecules can be prepared from boronic ester building blocks. With high enantiospecificity, this vinyl carbamate can be used to alkynylate enantioenriched secondary and tertiary boronic esters in good yields, accomplished by a Zweifel-type olefination followed by a 1,2-elimination.
