General description
Inhibitors: DFP, PMSF, TLCK, leupeptin, aprotinin, soybean trypsin inhibitor, α1-antitrypsin, α2-macroglobulin, anti-thrombin III heparin, APMSF, and α2-antiplasmin

Specificity
Serine endopeptidase that hydrolyzes peptide and ester bonds at the carboxylic side of Lys or Arg; more selective than trypsin.
Application
Biochem/physiol Actions
Plasmin is a direct acting fibrinolytic enzyme present in blood. Its activity is independent of plasminogen presence during fibrinolysis. Plasmin is rapidly and irreversibly inhibited by α-2 antiplasmin.[3]

Stabilizers: Human plasmin does not contain stabilizers.
Storage conditions (working solution): 2 to 8 °C
Diluted solution (pH 8.6) is stable at 2 to 8 °C for at least 1–2 weeks. For storage of dialyzed solution freezing in aliquots is recommended.
