Biochem/physiol Actions

Ralfinamide is a mixed sodium and N-type calcium channel blocker. Inhibiton is voltage-dependent, with higher potency against inactivated channels. Ralfinamide is two fold selective for tetrodotoxin (TTX)-resistant sodium channels compared with TTX-sensitive currents.
