General description

Estapor® carboxylated white microspheres avilable in different polymer matrixes, sizes and carboxyl content offer are vesatlie options for the development of a wide range Latex Turbidimetry Immunoassay (LTIA) diagnostic tests. The carboxylated surface of the microsphere is designed to be coated with the antibody or antigen of choice via a standard 2 steps EDC/NHS conjugation protocol. The robustness of the covalent bond of this conjugation process ensures long term stability and results reliability. This is a key feature of these microspheres and has attracted many diagnostic test developers whom have successfully utilized these microspheres for several years in a wide variety of LTIAs.

Application

Main applications of the standard microspheres include nephelemetric assays, immune-turbidimetric assays, latex agglutination tests, solid phase immunoassays, microspheres capture ELISA, calibration
