Description générale

2′,7′-Dichlorofluorescein diacetate, also known as DCFHDA or Dcfh-DA, is a sensitive cell-permeable redox probe. The lipophilic non-fluorescent Dcfh-DA readily crosses the cell membrane through passive diffusion followed by deacetylation. The deacylated product is an oxidant sensitive 2′,7′-dichlorofluorescein (DCHF). DCHF is oxidized later to form highly fluorescent DCF, which is measured.

Application

2′,7′-Dichlorofluorescein diacetate is predominantly used to detect reactive oxygen (ROS) intermediates and quantify the overall oxidative stress in cells.

Dcfh-DA is used in the quantitative assay to measure oxidative stress in nanoparticle-treated cells.

We previously reported that μ-oxo N,N'-bis(salicylidene)ethylenediamine iron [Fe(Salen)], a magnetic organic compound, has direct anti-tumor activity, and generates heat in an alternating magnetic field (AMF). We showed that Fe(Salen) nanoparticles are useful for combined hyperthermia-chemotherapy of tongue cancer. Here, we

In a previous study, we described a series of 28 aryl- and alkyl-substituted isothiouronium salts with antitumor activity and selectivity toward a leukemia cell line. Among the synthesized compounds, methyl (Z)-2-(isothioureidomethyl)-2-pentenoate hydrobromide (IS-MF08) showed conspicuous activity. In the present study

Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is characterized by hepatic accumulation of lipids. Antisteatotic effects of cerium oxide nanoparticles (CeO2NPs) have recently been shown in animal models of liver disease. However, it is unclear whether the activity of CeO2NPs is related

2',7'-Dichlorodihydrofluorescein diacetate (DCFH-DA) is commonly used to detect the generation of reactive oxygen intermediates and for assessing the overall oxidative stress in toxicological phenomenon. It has been suggested that DCFH-DA crosses the cell membrane, subsequently undergoing deacetylation by intracellular esterases.

Lack of CD2-associated protein (CD2AP) in mice increases podocyte apoptosis and leads to glomerulosclerosis and renal failure. We showed previously that SHIP2, a negative regulator of the PI3K/AKT signalling pathway, interacts with CD2AP. Here, we found that the expression level
