Application

ProteoPrep® Blue Albumin & IgG Depletion Kit has been used:
  • to deplete serum samples from immunoglobulin (Ig) G and albumin
  • for albumin removal
  • for albumin and IgG removal
  • to deplete abundant plasma proteins for two-dimensional electrophoresis

Biochem/physiol Actions

ProteoPrep blue albumin depletion kit is designed to specifically remove albumin and IgG from 25 samples of human serum (25μL to 100μL) in preparation for two-dimensional electrophoresis (2DE). Albumin-depleted serum samples generated by this kit are in urea rather than salt-based buffers with little dilution, eliminating the need to precipitate the sample prior to performing 2DE.
