General description

Pullulan Standards are mostly used to determine molecular mass distribution of cellulosic samples. It mainly consists of polymaltotriose units linked together by α-(1→6) linkages.[1]

Application

It may be used in determination of molecular weight of hydrolysate using gel permeation chromatography, in a study performed to investigate enzymatic degradation of chitins and partially deacetlylated chitins of squid pen and shrimp shell.[2]
