Application

Lithium hexafluorophosphate is a salt utilized as an electrolyte in lithium ion batteries. Recent advancements in the development of both additive scavengers (high selectivity & affinity toward unwanted species) and additive promoters (of LiPF6 dissociation) have greatly addressed electrolyte instability that commonly results in LiPF6 electrolyte containing battery performance degradation and lifetime shortening.
