General description

Hydrogen sulfide serves as a precursor for elemental sulfur and in the production of organosulfur compounds.

Application

Hydrogen sulfide gas can be used in the following applications:
  • As a sulfur source to synthesize assemblies of silver sulfide nanoparticles (Ag2S NPs).
  • As a ligand to form coordination complexes with ruthenium ammines.
  • As a test compound to assess the performance of polyaniline-based gas H2S sensors.

Packaging

Supplied in a carbon steel lecture bottle with a CGA180M/CGA110F needle valve installed.

Compatible with the following:
  • Aldrich® lecture-bottle station systems
  • Aldrich® lecture-bottle gas regulators
