General description

Palmitic acid (PA), a saturated fatty acid, seen in human body accounts for 20−30% of total fatty acids. It can be supplied through diet or produced endogenously from other fatty acids, carbohydrates and amino acids. PA is an important constituent of palm oil. Lissamine rhodamine is a red-emitting fluorophore, mainly used in immunofluorescence studies.
