Description générale

Dans la coloration de cryosections ultra-minces de gésiers de poulet, l′anticorps marque les corps denses et les faisceaux longitudinaux reliant les corps denses successifs, comportant également la desmine et la plaque dense associée à la membrane. Il ne marque pas les muscles cardiaques et squelettiques adultes, sauf en cas de contamination de l′échantillon par des cellules non musculaires ou lorsque du tissu embryonnaire est utilisé.
Monoclonal Anti-b-Actin (mouse IgG1 isotype) is derived from the AC-15 hybridoma produced by the fusion of mouse myeloma cells and splenocytes from an immunized mouse. ACTB (actin beta) gene codes for β-actin. It is a cytoskeletal housekeeping protein. It is present in the cytoplasm. This gene is located on human chromosome 7p22.1. Actin is a eukaryotic protein. It belongs to the major cytoskeletal protein family.

Application

L′anticorps monoclonal anti-actine de souris a été utilisé comme contrôle de charge pour l′analyse par western blot de lysats de protéines du foie.
L′anticorps monoclonal anti-actine de souris a été utilisé comme contrôle de charge pour l′analyse par western blot de protéines immunoprécipitées à partir de co-cultures de ganglion spinal de rat.

Actions biochimiques/physiologiques

β-Actin modulates cell growth, migration and the G-actin pool. Mutations in ACTB leads to pleiotropic developmental disorder.
Actins are majorly associated with cell motility. It is ubiquitously present in cytoplasm and involved in a myriad of cellular process including locomotion, secretion, cytoplasmic streaming, phagocytosis, and cytokinesis. It is expressed in mammals and birds and at least six isoforms have been identified.
