Description générale
IsoNanotubes-S™ are produced by arch discharge or plasma torch. The diameter of the semiconducting single walled nanotubes range in 1.2-1.7 nm, whereas the length varies from 100nm to 4 μm. The degree of purity of the SWNTs can be determined from the absorbance spectrum. The optical absorbance of semiconducting SWNTs occurs at S22 (850-1250nm) and S33 (450-550nm). Toxic behavior of SWNTS were studied by studying the response of human hepatocarcinoma cells to SWNTs.
Application
These carbon nanotubes are produced via the arc discharge process and are purified via density gradient centrifugation.Semiconducting SWNTs can be used in various wearable and flexible devices such as bendable pressure sensor. Research applications include:
