General description
Method: Colorimetric, with test strips and reagent, 20 - 40 - 100 - 200 - 500 mg/L (Pb), MQuant®
The MQuant® Lead test includes test strips and all necessary additional reagents and is suitable in environmental analysis. Not only in all aqueous media but also on metall surfaces it can be used to distinguish very easy between plumbiferous and non-plumbiferous metals. In acidic solution lead(II) ions react with rhodizonic acid to form a red complex. The concentration of lead(II) is measured semi-quantitatively by visual comparison of the reaction zone of the test strip with the fields of a color scale. The test strips are perfect for pre-testing a sample in an economic and quick way to estimate the lead concentration and a possible dilution factor prior to using a quantitative method such as a Spectroquant® test.
Design for sustainability benefits:
We continue to demonstrate our commitment to our planet and a sustainable future by exploring ways to improve existing products in our portfolio. We have recently reviewed the current line of MQuant® test strips to identify key opportunities to minimize impact without compromising on the product performance.
This product has benefited from:
