Beschreibung

Application

Traditionell zur Fällung von Proteinen verwendet. Zur Bestimmung der Proteinkonzentration durch quantitative Fällung. Zum Entkalken und als Fixationsmittel in der Mikroskopie verwendet.

• Trichloressigsäure wird zur Ausfällung von zirkulierendem sLRP (Soluble Low Density Lipoprotein Receptor-related Protein-1) isoliert vom Plasma verwendet.
• Es kommt auch bei der Extraktion von Ascorbinsäure aus Pflanzenproben zum Einsatz. Zudem wird es zur Herstellung von Ascorbat-Standards für den Ascorbat-Assay verwendet.
• Es wird auch zur Ausfällung von mittels IMAC (Immobilized Metal Ion Affinity Chromatography) isolierten Phosphoproteinen verwendet.
