Application

Cartap hydrochloride is a nereistoxin analogue insecticide used to control chewing and sucking pests on soya beans, peanuts, maize, sugarbeet, wheat and several fruits like apples, pears and plums. Under Reg. (EC) No 1107/2009 cartap hydrochloride is not approved for use in the European Union as a plant protection product. Maximum residue Cartap hydrochloride is a nereistoxin analogue insecticide used to control chewing and sucking pests on soya beans, peanuts, maize, sugarbeet, wheat and several fruits like apples, pears and plums. Under Reg. (EC) No 1107/2009 cartap hydrochloride is not approved for use in the European Union as a plant protection product. Maximum residue levels (MRLs) for some products of plant origin have been set according to Reg. (EU) 149/2008 for cartap hydrochloride to 0.1 mg/kg. The certified reference material (CRM) is intended to be used as a calibrant for chromatography and other analytical techniques.
