Gene Information

human ... CAV1(857)

Specificity

Recognizes caveolin-1 only when phosphorylated at tyrosine 14. This antibody does not cross-react with caveolin-2, -3 or caveolin-1beta, or the short isoform of caveolin-1.

Immunogen

Epitope: phospho-specific (Tyr14)
KLH-conjugated, synthetic phospho-peptide corresponding to residues surrounding Tyr14 of human caveolin-1

Application

This Anti-Caveolin-1 Antibody, phospho-specific (Tyr14) is validated for use in IP, WB for the detection of Caveolin-1.
Western blotting 1:1,000 (for best results, incubate membrane with diluted antibody in 5% BSA, 1X TBS, 0.1% Tween-20 at 4°C with gentle shaking, overnight)

Immunoprecipitation 1:50

Optimal working dilutions must be determined by the end user.
