Dexras1 is a member of the superfamily of RAS-g-proteins and directly binds to Gialpha heterotrimeric G-proteins where it appears to promote guanine nucleotide exchange on Gialpha. Dexras1 is implicated in NMDA receptor signaling through nitric oxide synthase.
Specificity
Dexras1 (Activator of G-Protein Signaling 1, AGS1). By Western blot the antibody recognizes a band at ~33 kDa on mouse brain extract. The antibody has also been used to detect Dexras1 in brown adipocyte lysate.

Activators of G-protein Signaling (AGS) are a family of accessory proteins that were discovered as modulators of heterotrimeric G-protein subunits. The primary aim of the present study was to localize Group I and II AGS proteins and determine the renal
Argonaute2 (Ago2) is an established component of the microRNA-induced silencing complex. Similar to miR-375 loss-of-function studies, inhibition of Ago2 in the pancreatic β-cell resulted in enhanced insulin release underlining the relationship between these two genes. Moreover, as the most abundant

Anxiety disorders are associated with a high social burden worldwide. Recently, increasing evidence suggests that nuclear factor kappa B (NF-κB) has significant implications for psychiatric diseases, including anxiety and depressive disorders. However, the molecular mechanisms underlying the role of NF-κB
In neurons, increased protein-protein interactions between neuronal nitric oxide synthase (nNOS) and its carboxy-terminal PDZ ligand (CAPON) contribute to excitotoxicity and abnormal dendritic spine development, both of which are involved in the development of Alzheimer's disease. In models of Alzheimer's
Pancreatic β cells adapt to compensate for increased metabolic demand during insulin resistance. Although the microRNA pathway has an essential role in β cell proliferation, the extent of its contribution is unclear. Here, we report that miR-184 is silenced in
