General description

EX-CELL^® CD CHO Fusion is a serum-free, chemically defined (CD), animal-component free (ACF) cell culture medium developed for the long-term suspension culture of Chinese Hamster Ovary (CHO) cells.

Application

EX-CELL^® CD CHO Fusion is used for:

• Long-Term CHO Cell Culture (Suspension) -Supports ≥95% viability and ≥2×10⁶ cells/mL for robust, reproducible CHO suspension culture
• GS Selection Workflows - Suitable for CHO cells using glutamine synthetase (GS) selection, including the CHOZN^® GS knockout cell line; supplied without L-glutamine to support GS-based selection systems
• DHFR⁻ Gene Amplification including the CHOZN^® DHFR knockout cell line
• Monoclonal Antibody (mAb) Development & Manufacturing - Supports CHO-based production of secreted recombinant proteins and antibodies, as demonstrated using rIgG-producing CHO cell lines
