Questions

  1. We have proposed a project in which propranolol will be intraperitoneally injected into mice as a migraine prophylactic agent for 4 weeks. Can propranolol hydrochloride solution (P-055) be used for this purpose? Does it have toxic effects?

    1 answer
    1. This product is intended for use as an analytical standard and is prepared in methanol. Methanol is toxic and may be lethal to cells, tissues, and animal models. Currently, there is no Propanolol HCl product suitable for in vivo or in vitro use.
