General description

Kerosene is a medium petroleum fraction. It is widely used as commercial fuel. A kinetic reaction mechanism for the oxidation of kerosene has been investigated. A fuel processing system has been developed for improving the reforming activity of kerosene for use in polymer electrolyte fuel cells (PEFCs).

Application

Kerosene may be employed as liquid fuel for the stationary fuel cells.
