Features and Benefits

  • Each system is packaged in a separate, double bag
  • Flask body is made up of polystyrene, caps from high-density polyethylene, and polypropylene is used to make the paddle and shaft
  • Side arm of a preassembled flask has one connector attached with a flat cap on an opposite side arm
  • Without having to adjust the height of the paddle, the extended paddle design ensures constant liquid motion from top to bottom
  • Dead spots are removed by the paddle′s bottom contours, which hug the flask′s shape
  • Two large neck openings allow for easy pouring
  • To ensure better mixing and maximize cell production vertical side baffles break up laminar flow
  • Gamma-irradiated sterilized with sterility assurance level (SAL) of 10-6 and meets the bacteriostasis, fungistasis, and sterility standards of USP XXIV:71
  • A 25mm-diameter vent filter with a polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) membrane and 0.2-micron pores and a barbed fitting completes the venting port
  • Only for single use, flasks cannot be alcohol-resterilized or autoclaved, materials will deteriorate in any attempt to do so
  • Aseptic transfer and vented caps are available optionally
  • A rigid polypropylene dip tube that is angled to reach the flask′s bottom is attached to the liquid transfer port′s internal end
  • Compatible with corning microcarriers in both suspension and adherent cell culture applications
  • A heat-sealable and chemically resistant tubing ends in a male luer lock (MLL) connector closed with a female luer sealing cap on the external side

Zinc-α2-glycoprotein (ZAG) is a major plasma protein whose levels increase in chronic energy-demanding diseases and thus serves as an important clinical biomarker in the diagnosis and prognosis of the development of cachexia. Current knowledge suggests that ZAG mediates progressive weight

A major goal for process and cell engineering in the biopharmaceutical industry is enhancing production through increasing volumetric and cell-specific productivities (CSP). Here, we present 5'-deoxy-5'-(methylthio)adenosine (MTA), the degradation product of S-(5'-adenosyl)-L-methionine (SAM), as a highly attractive native additive which
