Application
L-Ribulose has been used as a substrate in L-arabinose isomerase activity assay and in ribulokinase activity assay.
Biochem/physiol Actions
L-Ribulose is produced from L-ribose by microbial enzymes. L-Ribulose is a rare sugar and a precursor for antiviral drugs synthesis. Major industrial production of L-ribulose is by the use of L-arabinose isomerase enzyme.
Packaging
Bottomless glass bottle. Contents are inside inserted fused cone.
