The antibody reacts with the integrin beta1 chain which is a membrane glycoprotein (130 kDa) that can complex with the 6 different alpha-chains of the VLA′s. It is also known as VLA beta1-chain and the fibronectin receptor. The antigen is not expressed on erythrocytes and only weakly stains granulocytes.
Anti-Integrin β1 Antibody, clone TDM29 is an antibody against Integrin β1 for use in FC, IF & IP.

Cell-based therapeutic strategies afford major potential advantages in the repair of injured tendons. Generation of induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) expands cell sources for "regenerative" therapy. However, its application in tendon repair is still limited and the effects remain unclear.
Angiogenesis and inflammation are closely related biologic processes in wound healing and the responses to vascular injury as well as in cardiovascular diseases; however, the molecular connections are poorly defined. In particular, it is yet unclear whether endogenous factors can
Determining mechanisms that naturally protect species from developing cancer is critical in order to prevent and treat cancer. Here, we describe a novel cancer-suppressing mechanism, via the secretion of bioactive factors by mammary cells, that is present in domesticated mammals
Mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs) have the potential to be used as therapeutics, but their efficacy varies due to cellular heterogeneity, which is not fully understood. After characterizing donor-matched bovine MSC from adipose tissue (AT), bone marrow (BM), and peripheral blood

Homing of endothelial progenitor cells (EPCs) is crucial for neoangiogenesis, which might be negatively affected by hypoxia. We investigated the influence of hypoxia on fibronectin binding integrins for migration and cell-matrix-adhesion. AMP-activated kinase (AMPK) and integrin-linked kinase (ILK) were examined
