When Product JKA3037 is used to silanize a surface, the functional group attaching it to that surface is base-labile. So one would not expect it to survive after a wash with a 10 mM sodium hydroxide solution (approximately pH 12). Consider using a milder solution such as 100 mM sodium bicarbonate (pH approximately 8.2-8.4).
