Treosulfan is a biofunctional alkylating agent.
Treosulfan is bifunctional alkylating agent.
Treosulfan/l-threitol-1,4-bis-methanesulfonate; dihydroxybusulfan; NSC 39069. It is a prodrug of a bifunctional alkylating cytotoxic agent. Treosulfan can be activated non-enzymatically to two active epoxides. It is used to treat ovarian cancer.
