Application

Potassium Phosphate Monobasic solution has been used as a component of phosphate buffered saline for treating oligonucleotide nanoparticle and silver nanoparticle. It has also been used in the preparation of phosphate buffer used for high performance liquid chromatography-electrochemical detection (HPLC-ECD) system.

Biochem/physiol Actions

Potassium Phosphate Monobasic solution in combination with sodium acetate is employed in improving the shelf life of the catfish fillets during refrigeration. It is a sequestrant and neutralizing agent and preserves the colour of egg.
