General description

A general purpose hydrophobic alkyl phase that is very retentive and gives good peak shape for a wide variety of compounds.

Application

SUPELCOSIL LC-18 HPLC Column may be used for the separation of:
  • Anthocyanins, flavonols, and carbohydrates in Tropea red onions (Allium cepa L.) during their determination by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) as well as HPLC coupled to mass spectrometry (MS) equipped with electrospray ionization (ESI) source.
  • Sinapyl derivatives in pineapple (Ananas comosus [L.] Merill) juice samples during their determination by semipreparative reversed phase HPLC.
  • Aflatoxin M1 in milk and cheese samples during its determination by HPLC with post-column derivatization and fluorescence detection.
