General description

Human Immunoglobulin G consists of four subclasses, namely IgG1, IgG2, IgG3, and IgG4, named γ1, γ2, γ3, and γ4, respectively. The primary structure of the antibody contains disulfide bonds involved in linking the two heavy chains, and linking the heavy and light chains. IgG3, a pro-inflammatory antibody, appears first in the course of a viral infection and induces effector functions.

Specificity

The antibody is specific for human IgG3 and is non-reactive with other IgG subclasses. This clone has been recommended by the IUIS/WHO study for its specificity and reactivity in a wide range of assay protocols and techniques.

Application

Monoclonal Anti-Human IgG3-FITC antibody produced in mouse has been used in immunohistochemistry and indirect immunofluorescence.

Physical form

Solution in 0.01 M phosphate buffer, pH 8.0, containing 1% inactivated bovine serum albumin and 15 mM sodium azide.

Storage and Stability

For continuous use, store at 2-8 °C for up to one month.
For extended storage, solution may be frozen in working aliquots. Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. If slight turbidity occurs upon prolonged storage, clarify by centrifugation before use.

Other Notes

In order to obtain best results, it is recommended that each individual user determine working dilutions by titration assay.

Common variable immunodeficiency (CVID) is one of the most common primary immunodeficiency syndromes, affecting one in 25,000-50,000 people. Renal insufficiency occurs in approximately 2% of patients with CVID. To date, there are no case series of renal biopsies from patients
