Pyridoxine hydrochloride is a HCl salt of pyridoxine or vitamin B6. It is a water-soluble vitamin that plays an important role in the treatment of roughness, sunburn, acne, and itch of the skin. It can also be employed in the potential management of sideroblastic anemias, depression and other disorders.

Application

Pyridoxine hydrochloride may be used as an EP reference standard for the determination of the analyte in pharmaceutical formulations by chromatography and spectrophotometric techniques.
