Application

Zirconium(IV) acetate hydroxide can be used as a precursor to synthesize:
  • Monoclinic zirconium dioxide nanoparticles via thermal treatment method in the presence of polyvinylpyrrolidone as a capping agent.
  • Zirconia doped lithium cobalt oxide (Zr-LiCoO2) by treating with lithium acetate and cobalt acetate via the sol-gel method.
  • Yttrium stabilized zirconia nanoparticles via co-precipitation method using yttrium acetate tetrahydrate and oxalic acid dehydrate.
